Steps to Follow for EEM Senior Design Project Course

This course is an 8th semester course where students develop projects related to their professional interests by demonstrating their analysis and design skills, and it starts with determining an advisor and topic in the 7th semester.
Students who will take this course submit the Advisor Determination Form with the topic title to the Department Head Office after the 7th semester extension week and have it approved. Thus, they start their project work under the supervision of their advisors.
Students whose advisors are determined can also take the course in the 8th semester. Students who cannot determine an advisor are assigned an appropriate advisor (until the extension week).
The student prepares the project proposal form at the beginning of the semester. The purpose of the proposed project and the desired result should be written clearly. The necessary constraints and conditions for the implementation of the project should be determined. The importance of the proposed project in terms of the student, society and information/technology should be stated.
The student submits their mid-term and end-of-term studies to their advisors by using the Project Final Report format.
It should be explained how the project will be carried out, with which methods and tools. The personnel determination approach for cost analysis should be determined. The environmental effects of the project, etc. should be examined.
The student presents his/her project to the Jury for evaluation on the specified date. The Jury completes its evaluation by preparing the Project Evaluation Form.
In cases of necessity, a change of advisor may be made.
A student who has completed 8 semesters can also take the course in the 9th semester.
All responsibilities in this process belong to the student.
