1-PROCEDURES TO BE DONE BEFORE STARTING THE INTERNSHIP

Only if the company where the internship will be done requests it, the following form is submitted to the company for the internship application. It is not included in the standard internship process.

The procedures specified below must be completed before starting the internship. Otherwise, the student cannot start the internship. After the signatures of the company and student affairs on the compulsory internship form are completed, it is uploaded to link-1 online without filling in the department approval section. The form cannot be delivered by hand, OBS or mail.

Request your internship insurance document from the Faculty of Engineering Student Affairs 1-5 days before your internship start date.

NOTE: Students who will do an internship with the Presidential National Internship Program (USP) do not need the Company approval section of the Mandatory Internship Form. However, they are responsible for uploading their mandatory internship form to link-1.
ATTENTION: Students who do not upload their mandatory internship forms to the relevant link before the spring semester final week will not have their internships approved. Students who are about to complete their internships must upload their forms to the relevant link at least 15 business days before the internship start date.

2- PROCEDURES TO BE CARRIED OUT DURING THE INTERNSHIP PERIOD

During the internship process, the intern student performs the tasks assigned by the internship supervisor.
The internship notebook is filled with at least 20 pages, including project-based professional work.
The relevant sections of the internship notebook are signed by the internship supervisor.
After the internship registration slip is signed, it is received from the internship supervisor in a sealed envelope.

3- PROCEDURES TO BE DONE AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE INTERNSHIP

The following surveys must be filled out by the first two days of the add-drop week of the next academic year. However, students who are in the status of a graduate can complete the surveys as soon as their internship is over and upload their internship reports to link-1 before entering the internship evaluation.

At the end of the internship, please fill out the following four (4) surveys.


 
The internship report can only be uploaded online to this link-2. The report cannot be delivered to the department by hand, via OBS or by mail. The internship report can be written on the computer or by hand, but the report can only be delivered online in pdf format. If the report is written by hand, the report must be scanned and converted to pdf format. The signatures on the report must be in color and are a necessary and sufficient condition for the report to be accepted. Internship record slips are requested from the student after the report is delivered when necessary. Please keep your internship record slips in a safe place.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Students can do an internship in any company that has an electrical, electronics, electrical-electronics, control and automation, mechatronics or electronic communication engineer.

The internship period must be twenty (20) working days, internships shorter or longer than twenty days will not be approved.

In case of necessity, the intern student can do two internships in the same department of a company.
